Moulding the hood: it is layered with tinfoil to give it a more sculptural quality, which also gave it the bonus effect of looking more wrinkled and to scale. Also, the edge of the hood is lined with wire to allow it to be bent to shape:

The clothing so far; Small buckle added to the hood to finish it off, and then a front piece added, again layered with tin foil to give it a more wrinkled quality. I may re-do the sleeves like this as it does give a very nice effect. So just the Cloak/cape to do now and maybe the sleeves and few finishing touches, but I'm going to have to stop there now as the glue fumes are sending me funny.
