Just a few early ideas of the main child puppet, trying to have a think about different face shapes as well as planning out certain components within them and getting the sizings right, ideally going for 8-9in of puppet with this one so not too big.

Other than that, starting off fabrication of the smallest set piece, it's not in it for long so it's just going to be a card and paper maché job...

Just some bits and bobs for tree inspiration...

My secret forbidden love of spreadsheets gets an airing now and then, and now is one of those times.

You see that (B5)? That's a countdown timer to assessment that changes colour with conditional formatting depending on how close assessment is getting.

You see those (Row 2)? Those are wieghted percentages of jobs todo/partially done/done, again with conditional formatting for a quick-glance-what-needs-to-be-worked-on cool cat kinda style. With a nice overall Project Complete percentage (B2).

You see all those jobs to do? BOOM! Conditional formatting to separate their individual completeness.

Spreadsheets are wonderful.

A little bit of practice at working on canvas with ink and watercolours, toying with the idea of canvas sets/backgrounds after seeing some Raa Raa the Noisy Lion. Could use this illustrative style for props and background pieces as it won't look too busy with the plain white?

Worth looking into definitely.
